Baah Yarn Sequoia is a super bulky yarn made from 100% superwash merino wool (single ply). Each skein of yarn is carefully hand painted.
Although Sequoia is made with superwash merino wool, hand washing is recommended to preserve the stunning colors. For best care, hand-wash with cold water.

Rainbow Swirl Hat Pattern:

Difficulty: Intermediate/Advanced

Size: One size fits most adults and teens.

Knitted Measurements: Height=8”, Circumference= 16-24”

Yarn: 1 skein of Baah Yarn Sequoia (approx 85 yards) in Color A, and 5 mini skeins (5 yards each) of Baah yarn Sequoia in Colors B, C, D, E, F, and G.

Needles: Size 10 (6.0mm) circular for brim
Size 10.5 (6.5mm) circular for hat body
Size 10.5 (6.5mm) DPNs for crown
or sizes needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 6 sts and 8.5 rows= 2” on larger needles.

Notions: Marker (m), cable needle (cn), tapestry needle, scissors, 2 pieces of cardboard (4” x 4”).

Skills: Switching yarn colors, knitting in the round, twisted stitches, decreasing.
